Project Designer – Electrical Engineering

Summary of Overall Requirements:

  • Living in, or be willing to re‐locate to the Portland OR area on a permanent basis
  • Be available to work a minimum of 40 hours weekly
  • Have good verbal and writing communication skills
  • Be able to work within, provide support and contribute as a Design TEAM Member
  • Be able to clearly provide verbal support for Electrical design and individual skill set(s)
  • Be willing to support other discipline designs when needed
  • High school degree required, college degree a plus

Computer Skill Requirements:

Software Experience and Proficiency of Use Requires in the Following:

  • Autodesk AutoCAD 2D Proficient (Requirement)
  • Auto CAD 3D, Revit, Inventor (preferred)
  • Excel‐Word‐Project‐365 Proficient (preferred)
  • EasyPower Proficient (a plus)

Work Experience Requirements:

Electrical Design Experience Preferred or Required in the Following:

  • Have working knowledge of NEC Code
  • Knowledge of NEC Class 1,2 and 3 wiring definitions
  • Knowledge in the design of Power Circuits and I&C Systems per NEC/Oregon Electrical Code
  • Knowledge in Electrical Schematic layouts and Electrical design definitions
  • Worked within a Team environment
