Project Designer – Mechanical

SUMMARY OF OVERALL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must live in, or be willing to re‐locate to, Portland OR area on a permanent basis
  • Must have good verbal and writing communication skills
  • Must be able to clearly provide verbal support for individual design skill set(s)
  • Must be able to clearly provide verbal support of current working electrical design package elements
  • Must be able to clearly provide verbal support utilizing a comprehensive understanding and familiarity of other disciplines which are design scope related

COMPUTER SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Software Experience and Proficiency of Use Required in the following:

  • AutoCAD Proficient
  • AutoCAD BIM Proficient
  • AutoCAD P&ID Proficient (Preferred)
  • Excel‐Word‐Project‐365 Microsoft Office
  • Semiconductor Manufacturing ‐ Clean Room Fab Designs (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing Tool Install Design Layouts (Preferred)

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Mechanical Design Experience Required in the following:

  • Proficient in and have working knowledge of IMC, ICC Code
  • Specific working knowledge in designing Hazardous/Process Chemical delivery/containment systems to IMC, ICC and Local ORG Mechanical Codes
  • Specific working knowledge in designing Hazardous Exhaust Connection design to IMC, ICC and Local Oregon Mechanical Codes
  • Proficient in Mechanical‐Piping Schematic layouts and Mechanical Piping design definitions
